雅思写作中关于时间的表达

　　雅思写作的小作文中经常会涉及到年份等时间点。但是因为同样的意思在作文中频繁出现，所以很容易造成重复。今天，小编就为大家总结了雅思写作中关于时间的表达，下面就跟着小编一起来学习一下吧！

　　►表达一：in+年份

　　解析：

　　同学们在写作时需要注意各种时间信息前搭配的介词。

　　如果是日期或星期，那么会使用on，如：on Monday, on July 1st；

　　如果是月份或年份，那么会用in，如：in January, in 2010。

　　而小作文中最常见的时间信息为年份，如果要表示某一个年份，图中数据为多少的话，那么我们都统一使用“in+年份”的形式。

　　为了进行替换，也可以将年份表述为“in the year+年份”的形式，如果后面同时要描述多个年份，注意year要记得加复数。

　　例句：

　　➀Localfixed line calls were the highest throughout the period, rising from 72 billionminutesin1995 to just under 90billionin1998. (C9T2)

　　➁Throughout the century, the largest quantity of water was used for agricultural purposes,and this increased dramatically from about 500 km3in the year 2000. (C6T1)

　　►表达二：from … to… / between … and …

　　解析：

　　当动态图中要描述一段时间内，数据的变化趋势时，需要用from…to或between…and的表达方式。

　　要注意的是，这两个用法是固定的搭配方式，千万不要混用为from …and或between…to的形式，否则会出现用词错误的扣分。

　　解析：

　　当我们要表达某段时间内数据的变化时，除了用from…to或between…and中加入时间点的方式以外，还可以直接用over搭配时间段的方式来表达，

　　如果要概述整幅图的情况，那么可以用through out来替换。

　　►表达四：by+时间点

　　解析：

　　当我们想要强调到某一个时间为止完成了某种变化时，可以使用“by+时间点”的方式来作为句子中的时间状语。

　　需要注意的是，有些小作文中时间关系会较为复杂，可能会出现过去、现在或将来的时间，我们在使用时间状语时也需要确保句子中的谓语动词在形式上也随之调整。

　　by+过去时间点时，句子的谓语动词应使用过去完成时（had done）；by+now时，句子的谓语东西应使用现在完成时（have/has done）;

　　by+将来时间点时，句子的谓语动词应使用将来完成时（will have done）。

　　例句：

　　➁Expenditure on resources such as bookshad increasedto 20%by 1991 before decreasing to only 9%by the end ofthe period. (C7T2)
