雅思写作考试中遇到新题如何应对？

　　In many countries schools have severe problems with student behavior. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

　　题目的意思是说“现在很多学生出现了严重的行为问题，请问原因和解决办法。”剑4第169页有这个题目的考官范文，我们节选了其中的一个段落，来看看考官怎么写“学生出现行为问题的原因”。

　　In many countries, the birth rate is decreasing so that families are smaller with fewer children. These children are often spoilt, not in terms of love and attention because working parents do not have the time for this, but in more material ways. They are allowed to have whatever they want, regardless of price, and to behave as they please. This means that the childrengrow up without considerationfor others and without any understanding of where their standard of living comes from.

　　这段话的意思是说：“在很多国家，出生率下降，所以家庭里面孩子的数量少了。这些孩子经常被父母宠坏了，但是工作的父母没有时间去关注他们，只是给了他们很好的物质生活。孩子想要什么就有什么，不问价格，想做什么就做什么，开心就好。这就意味着这些孩子长大以后不会替别人着想，不珍惜自己的生活条件。”

　　在学习这段语言素材的过程中，我们可以积累一些词汇和句式表达。学习的目的并不是为了考试去碰一模一样的题目，而是为了能够灵活运用这些词汇句式和素材。

　　我们来看另一个题目：

　　2018-7-21考题：Many businesses think that the new employees who graduate from schools lack basic interpersonal skills, such as working with colleagues as a team. What are the causes and solutions to this problem?

　　“很多新员工缺乏沟通与合作能力，请问原因和解决办法。”这是2018年7月21号 的写作考题，之前没有考过，算是一个“新题”。虽然这个题目属于工作话题，和刚才剑4-4的教育话题属于两类不同的话题，但彼此之间的词汇素材有很多相通的地方。

　　我们稍微动一下脑筋，就可以把剑4-4的那段素材转化到这个题目。“因为家里孩子少，所以很多孩子从小被父母宠坏了，不替别人着想，结果长大参加工作以后也就不懂得与人沟通合作”。根据这个因果逻辑，就有了下面的范文：

　　Compared with the past, there are fewer children in a family in today’s society, so that the young generation is oftenspoilt by their parents. In their childhood, they can have whatever they wantand behave as they please. Such children tend to grow up without considerationfor others, which makes it difficult for them to cooperate with others after they enter a company.

　　非常完美的素材灵活运用（蓝色字的素材基本来自剑4-4）！我们再看一个另外一个例子：

　　2019-4-6考题：Some people think that the best way to reduce time spent intraveling to work is to replace parks and gardens close to the city center with apartment buildings for commuters, but others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

　　这个题目的意思是说：“把市区的花园和公园改成居民楼，减少员工的上下班通勤时间。” 很多同学觉得这个题目非常难，不知道从何入手。这的确是一个从来没有考过的题目，算是一个“新题”，但是完全可以用之前上课讲过的题目素材去解决。

　　首先简单分析一下，题目中有两方的观点，其中一方观点赞成把公园和花园改造成居民楼。这个观点有一定的道理，因为员工住在市中心，离公司比较近，确实能够减少每天开车或者挤地铁的通勤时间。

　　但是反方的观点更好写，因为建造居民楼并不是最好的办法，这样会减少城市中心的绿化面积，降低生活质量，所以应该采取其他措施。

　　比方说，允许某些行业的员工在家里远程办公，或者把市中心的某些企业搬迁到郊区，都可以解决题目中的通勤时间问题。而这些内容其实都来自曾经写过的雅思作文题目。

　　2012-12-1考题（员工在家办公的利弊）：These days, more and more companies allow employees to work from home. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this pattern?

　　2018-5-5考题（把市中心的企业搬去郊区的利弊）：Because of traffic and housing problems in the cities, the government encourages the business to move to the suburban area. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
