PTE口语：where, were, and we’re如何分辨？

　　WHERE如何发音

　　The word where rhymes with care, fair, and stare.

　　where这个词的节奏音调和care，fair，stare一样。

　　It is pronounced exactly the same as the word wear (as in wear clothes).

　　它和wear这个单词的发音一样。

　　care, fair, stare, where

　　WERE如何发音

　　The word were rhymes with sir and fur.

　　这个单词的音调和sir，fur一样。

　　It’s the same sound as in the word bird.

　　和bird有部分相同的发音。

　　sir, fur, bird, were

　　“WE’RE”如何发音

　　The word we’re is short for “we are.”

　　we’re是we are的缩写形式

　　You can pronounce it with an eer sound as in beer and fear:

　　其中的发音类似beer和fear里eer部分的发音

　　However, when speaking fast, we often pronounce it more like were:

　　We’re going to the beach.

　　We’re all done with our homework.
